MICHAEL “POOCH” PUCCINI REUNITES WITH COMEDY
LEGEND BRUCE BAUM TO OPEN NEW COMEDY CLUB
Hollywood Comedians to Perform at Grand Opening of New Stand-up
Comedy Venue – Smiles, Giggles and Laughs –
in Albuquerque, NM on October 29-30
(Denver, CO, September 18, 2010) – Continuing to capitalize on his appearance this past summer on NBC’s Last Comic Standing (including the
show’s national commercials), Michael “Pooch” Puccini proudly announced today that he will be reuniting with veteran stage
and screen comedian Bruce Baum to
perform at the grand opening weekend of the new, all-pro comedy club Smiles, Giggles and Laughs, located inside the Embassy Suites in Albuquerque, NM, on Friday and Saturday, October 29-30.
This will be the second time this year that the rising California-born and -bred comedian and Baum have shared a stage, as they first worked together in February when Baum hired Pooch
to open for him at the Scottsbluff Country Club in Scottsbluff, Neb.
“This is such a great opportunity, because not only
do I get to once again work with Bruce Baum,
but it’s a privilege to be asked to perform at the grand opening weekend of the
new comedy club Smiles, Giggles and Laughs at the Embassy Suites in Albuquerque,”
said Pooch. “This is going to be an outstanding
show. Bruce Baum is one of the quintessential headliners in the
country. His credits include network
television show appearances, major motion pictures, HBO and Showtime comedy
specials, and the honor of being one of a select number of A-list comedians to
be immortalized as a character on an episode of The Simpsons.”
The Embassy Suites is located at 1000 Woodward Place NE (at I-25 and Lomas Blvd.),
Albuquerque, NM.
