(2010) Pooch's signature, fan-favorite "Phones" bit at the Scottsbluff Country Club in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This clip got me an audition in New York City for Last Comic Standing 7. (2008) Some Gangster Comedy at The iconic Hollywood Improv.
(2007) This is a clip of when I did some ganster PR and got myself booked on the CBS (KPIX-TV) Saturday Morning News in San Francisco. I was selected to perform in the 2007 San Francisco International Comedy Competition and so I promoted my coming home to the Bay Area and performing for the first time since leaving in 1994. I guess it was a slow news day. (2007) Here's the demo show that got me into the $25,000 32nd Annual San Francisco International Stand-Up Comedy Competition. It was at the Ice House in Pasadena.
(1999) This video is Classic Gangster Pooch! It goes to illustrate my point when I say that everything I do is gangster. I used to be a full-time video game journalist for Gamers' Republic Magazine (now defunct) and would get to go on all-expenses-paid trips and outings. (I'm not saying that it's right or wrong, I'm just saying that I did it, it happened and I had a great time.) Anyway...This footage was shot by a PR guy back in 1999 (October 8-10) at a PR event weekend up at Snug Harbor, CA, (near Sacramento) for a fishing video game for the PlayStation One. I can't say who made the game, but I can say that it had never been played by anyone outside of the company. As you will see, the game came bundled with this really intuitive, kind of cool, vibrating fishing reel. Enjoy. Oh, one side note, in the back, in the red shirt is a really cool guy named Sam Kennedy. He's a good old friend of mine who's still a video game journalist with 1UP.com, check him out sometime.
